Essential?Alan McGee thought so - he was so impressed he signed them up to Creation before the herd-like instincts of the masses gave him access to Oasis-sized piles of cash to muck about with. The longer they got on, they less listenable they became, so any of the early Creation stuff is probably going to be worth a listen.
